The typhoon Ondoy was very tragic for me. There are a lot of places that were flooded especially in Marikina, Pasig, Rizal, and Metro Manila. There were a lot of them stranded in their rooftop and some of them tried to escape from the flood but they failed and got drowned. Many of them were not eating about 1-3 days. There houses was destroyed by the flood and they didn't save at least one of their things all of were wash out. The victims were very angry with the government since the rescuers took them hours before they can rescue the people and they only have 13 rubber boats. Fortunately the rescuers have reached some of the places but some were not really reached because of the current of the water. While the rescuers are rescuing people the relatives of the victims were already waiting to a safe place and keeps on crying while they were waiting and thinking that there family is still alive. Many of the people were found dead and up to now still missing. It was really a tragic experience. Fortunately there were a lot of people helping and donating relief goods. I hope we've learned a lot of lessons from it, and always prepare.
